Enjoy these Juicing Recipes to Help You Achieve Optimum Health
In Norman W. Walker’s book, “Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices” (Click picture on right to purchase or see other books)he recommends the following combinations.
Carrot, Beet and Coconut Juice (made from the meat of the coconut)
He says “in addition to its properties as an intensive body builder, has more potent qualities as a cleanser of the kidneys and gallbladder. If properly prepared, this combination contains the alkaline elements potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and iron in abundance and the other elements phosphorus, sulphur, silicon and chlorine in ample and correct proportions”.

Carrot, Beet and Cucumber Juice with Lemon. Mix the first three vegetables with the juice of one lemon into a tumbler of hot water.
He suggests drinking a cup of the lemon juice drink and a cup of the carrot, beet and cucumber juice three to four times a day. He says it can rid the body of gallstones, kidney stones or gravel in the gallbladder or kidneys sometimes in a matter of a few days or a few weeks.

combinations are endless. You may want to purchase one of the many books on the market about juicing, or experiment and find what you like. It’s a good idea to have at least 16 ounces of juice each day. Enjoy!
This is one of my favorites. It's healthy, tastes great with a zing!
- 1 kale leaf
- 2 granny smith apples
- ½ inch ginger root,
Roll up kale leaf and push through hopper followed by cut up apples and ginger root
This juice is filled with potassium
- 4 to 5 carrots
- 2 stalks celery
- handful parsley
- handful spinach
This juice is a great liver tonic
- 4 to 5 carrots
- handful spinach
- 1 small beet
- 1 apple
Great for indigestion
Drink 3-4 ounces 3 times a day.
This is very refreshing and delicious!
- handful red grapes
- handful spinach
- few sprigs parsley
- ¼ mango peeled
- ¼ lime peeled
I call this one "Sweet Potato Pie" - filled with beta-carotene
- 1 large sweet potato (peeled)
- 2 apples (for this recipe I used Royal Gala apples, but you can substitute Braeburn apples or any other of the more varieties)
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon powder
Juice the apples and sweet potato. Put in glass and mix in the cinnamon powder. You can add more or less to taste.
Great green cleansing juice:
- 1 cucumber
- 6 celery stalks
- handful parsley
- 2 apples
- 1/2 lemon, peeled

Tasty tomatoes!
- 1 1/2 cups spinach
- 2 cups tomatoes
- 4 celery stalks
- 3/4 cup fennel
- handful parsley
Juice and add a pinch of cayenne pepper (optional) Yum!
Refreshing and filled with lots of Vitamin C
- 2 grapefruits (peeled)
- 3 oranges (peeled)
- 1 cup strawberries (remove stems)
Juice and enjoy!
